Hello! I'm 3months already. I'm drinking between 6-7oz of formula plus or minus breastmilk. My Manina (godmother Mayrita) went back home (Santo Domingo), so I started daycare. I'm sleeping approximately 6 hrs straight at night and feeding less. Here are some pics of me all grown up :)

Hola! Ya tengo 3 meses. Me estoy tomando entre 6-7oz de formula y algunas veces leche de pecho. Mi Manina (madrina Mayrita) ya se regreso a Santo Domingo, lo que indica que empeze en el cuido. Estoy durmiendo aproximadamente 6 horas de corridas en la noche y tambien estoy comiendo menos durante la madrugada. Aqui estan unas cuantas fotos para que vean lo mucho que he crecido :)

Howdy everyone! I'm 2 months old already. I went to the doctor yesterday and I weigh 13lbs 3 oz and measure 23 1/2 inches. I am eating approximately 5oz of milk every 2-3hrs. Needless to say, I am keeping mom busy. I will start daycare soon :( as my mom has to return to work. Here are some pics of me from 7weeks on.

Hola! Ya tengo 2 meses. Fui al doctor ayer, aqui estan mis medidas: 13 libras 3 oz, mido 23 1/2 pulgadas. Estoy comiendo 5oz de leche cada 2-3hrs. Demas esta el decir que estoy manteniendo a mami ocupada. Empiezo el cuido pronto ya que mami tiene que regresar a trabajar :(

Hello everyone. I'm back! Sorry for the delay on uploading new pictures, but I've been keeping my mom very busy. I am eating every 2hrs instead of 3hrs, so needless to say... my mom is tired and busy. I'll try to keep up.

Hola a todos. Regrese! Perdon por durar tanto en poner fotos nuevas pero he estado manteniendo a mami ocupada. Estoy comiendo cada 2hrs en vez de 3hrs asi es que mami esta bien cansada y ocupada. Tratare de poner mas fotos luego.

Hi. I am happy to inform that Nick has gained 1lb 1oz in 1week. He is now 8lbs 9oz... gaining 2oz a day (usually babies gain 1oz a day). He is eating between 3 1/2-4oz of milk (breast & formula). We have been cleared until the end of the month when we go back for his 1 month check-up. Here are some more pictures of the happy one.

Hola. Estoy contenta de informarles que Nick ha aumentado 1lb 1oz en 1 semana. El pesa 8lbs 9oz. Esta aumentando 2oz por dia (los bebes usualmente aumentan 1oz por dia). Nick esta tomando entre 3 1/2-4oz de leche (pecho y formula). No vemos al pediatra hasta fin de mes cuando vamos a la visita de un mes. Aqui tienen mas fotos del sonriente.

Hi! As you can see, Nicholas has started to interact more with us. He is now smiling a lot more and staying awake more. He continues drinking approximately 3oz of milk every 3 hours and sleeping 3-4 hours after his feedings. I have attached some pictures that his grandmother took after a well deserved bath. Enjoy!

Hola! Como pueden ver, Nicholas ha empezado a interactuar mas con nosotros. Se esta riendo mucho mas y se mantiene despierto un poco mas. Se mantiene tomando aproximadamente 3oz de leche cada 3 horas y durmiendo 3-4 horas despues de cada comida. Aqui tienen unas cuantas imagenes que le tomo su abuela despues de un bano. Que lo disfruten!

First doctor visit

Hi! Nick's first visit to the pediatrician was excellent. He has gained 2oz since discharged from the hospital (weight at discharge was 7lbs 6oz), has grown 1/2in (now at 20 1/2 inches). We have to return next week for another weight check. If all goes well, we don't return until one month. He is still feeding and sleeping well... not mom! Dad and grandma are doing ok.

Hola! La primera visita de Nick al pediatra fue excelente. Ha aumentado 2 onzas desde que llego a la casa (peso cuando llego a la casa era de 7libras 6 onzas), ha crecido 1/2 pulgada (ahora mide 20 1/2 pulgada). Tenemos que regresar al pediatra en una semana para chequear el peso otra vez. Si todo va bien en esa visita, regresamos en un mes. El continue comiendo y durmiendo bien... no su mama! Papi y abuela estan bien.

Got Milk?

Hello everyone! Nick has been home for 5 days now and it has been wonderful. He is sleeping better, drinking 2oz of formula and latching on approximately 1 hour to breastfeed. Yes! I finally got the REAL deal...breastmilk. Needless to say, mom and baby are very happy. He goes to the pediatrician later today for his first checkup... so, log on tomorrow with more updates.

Hola! Ya Nick ha estado en la casa por 5 dias y todo esta de maravilla. El esta durmiendo mejor y se esta tomando 2oz de formula y approximadamente 1 hora de pecho. Si! Finalmente me bajo la leche! Esta de mas decir que mami y bebe estan bien felices. Nicholas va al pediatra hoy en la tarde para su primera cita medica... asi es que, conectate manana para que te informes como nos fue.

Nicholas' Birth

Nicholas Andrew Barrett Acosta has finally arrived!!! He was born on July 22nd at 5:45pm. His weight was 7lbs 12 oz. He measured 20 inches. He was delivered through a vaginal delivery (no c-section!!!). I was admitted on Monday, July 21st for low amniotic fluid. 24 hrs later, Nick was born! So far, he is a quiet baby. He only cries when he is hungry. He is breastfeeding well and eating 2oz of formula along with that. He is sleeping 2-4hrs at times.

Por fin llego Nicholas Andrew Barrett Acosta! Nacio el 22 de julio a las 5:45pm. Peso 7libras, 12 onzas y midio 20 pulgadas. El parto fue vaginal (no cesaria!!- gracias a Dios). Me ingresaron el lunes 21 de julio por no tener mucho liquido amniotico. 24 horas despues, nacio Nick! Hasta ahora, es un bebe tranquilo... solo llora cuando tiene hambre. Esta tomando formula (2 oz) y leche materna. Duerme de 2-4hrs a la vez.
